Duby helped 16 Maverick form a solid defense. Duby is consistent in the back row, constantly helping the team get into a great rhythm. Duby also provides sound net coverage. Her range has improved throughout the season. She takes minimal steps to get to balls. Even when lunging, Duby does a good job keeping her body aimed at the target. when out of system, Duby sends balls back toward the net creating opportunities for hitters to smack down balls. Duby also does a great job adjusting to redirected balls.

Duby is more than a playmaker for 16 Maverick. Duby goes to the edges of the playing surface trying to keep plays alive. She has great range, consistently tracking down balls under control. Duby is not afraid to lunge or use one arm to pop balls in the air to teammates or over the net. Duby has shown she can handle a variety of hard and off shots. Duby also displays great enthusiasm on the court.
