The preparation that Jones utilizes for her passing and defense is a big reason why she can create good range in pursuit of the ball. At 5’6, her quickness and efficient first-step help her to cover a lot of ground and utilize her court sense and awareness to create opportunities for her team’s offense. She helped guide her team to the championship round at AAU nationals in which they lost a tough three-set quarterfinal match after going 7-2 leading into the final day of play.
