Timmerman’s (*pictured) skills have elite qualities and are securing a lot of attention and increased opportunities to be evaluated and praised for her execution and impact for her team. It is a big wonder why opposing teams serve her given the efficiency of her movement and angle production that helps activate this high potential offense to get them in system often. The top DS/L prospect in the Prep Dig 2028 class for Ohio, she is a key factor for her team’s success and what will likely be a big charge to the podium in Florida in the 16 Open division. Tri-State Elite 16 Blue opens the event as the #3 overall seed in 16 Open.

Timmerman has been excellent over the past few months, helping wrap up another DI state title for Seton, along with transitioning into the club season with a lot of confidence to match her increased effectiveness. Feedback from her sphere indicates she is getting a lot of attention from power five programs at the next level and rightfully so given her impact in the first-touch phase of the game. Her platform control in serve receive is some of the best as she tracks the ball effectively while maintaining the right space to manipulate her angles correctly based on the ball’s float and spin.

Timmerman showed why she is receiving significant interest from Atlantic Coast Conference and Big 10 schools. The National Training Development Program invitee has a constant nose for balls. Timmerman tracks down balls in corners and gets to setovers that most defensive specialists do not using her great range. Timmerman is smooth on first touches, giving full effort on each play no matter the outcome.

Timmerman was a key contributor for Seton through their run to a second consecutive Division I state title. The defense and ball control prospect had 225 total digs for an average of 8.1 d/m. At 5’7, she has good range in her first-touch skills as highlighted by her play with her TSE club team last spring. She reads the game well and gets herself stopped and balanced to be able to pursue the ball in all directions. She has great skills and should continue to climb her stock as the next club cycle gets going.

The primary libero for TSE’s top 15U team, Timmerman is steady. An AAU all-American in the 14 Open division a season ago, Timmerman moves well in pursuit of the ball with good point engagement and reactions in whatever capacity needed. As she gets stopped and balanced well, she also understands how to adjust angles to create good opportunities for her team’s offense to develop.
