As the pace increased throughout the camp, Lynn Choe’s first contact and communication continued to hold steady. Whether it was serve receive or a defensive touch, she understood how much a quality first contact can influence everything that follows.

What resonated most throughout the camp was her perspective on imperfection.

As she shared, “Learning to adapt to imperfect situations makes you stand out amongst others who train for these perfect situations.”

That realization seemed to stick with her throughout the day. Volleyball is rarely perfect. The athletes who continue moving forward are often the ones who adjust fastest when things break down.

During 6-on-6 play, she felt her communication and serve receive training showing up naturally. The game was moving faster, but she trusted her preparation and stayed engaged in every rally.

With college camps, Open Division Nationals, beach volleyball, and high school season all approaching, Lynn’s summer will be busy.
