One of the biggest areas of growth for Malia this season has been leadership. Her coaches challenged her to take a larger role within her team, and she responded by focusing less on herself and more on understanding what each teammate needs to succeed.

That challenge changed how she views leadership.

As recruiting begins becoming more real, Malia is excited to continue building relationships and exploring opportunities while continuing to grow both as a setter and teammate.
