About Madison

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a competitive player who wants to win and is determined to become a better athlete and person every day. i want my peers to be the best version of themselves.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My personality is outgoing and energetic. I love being active and on-the-go and cherish opportunities to make my friends laugh. This outgoing attitude carries over to the court where I embrace the joy of the game and lift up my teammates at every opportunity. I would say my mentality is to fight to win because winning is more fun!!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on our volleyball leadership council at Friendswood High School. Only 2-3 players are selected per grade level. I have been serving since 2022 and it’s an honor to be able to serve on this leadership council.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a leader. I've regularly been selected captain for teams I've participated on and I am an encouraging and reliable player for my teammates. I believe being part of a team is a privilege. I also understand that I can be a positive and inspiring influence on those around me, within my team, my school and my community, by living life and playing the right way.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced challenges related to an injury as well as challenges around worrying about things or circumstances outside of my control. I have learned that fighting my way through such setbacks took the same skill set. Focus and discipline.

She moves with precision, getting her feet stopped and perfectly timed on every ball, and her smooth hands deliver consistent placement. Her neutral body and hand positioning make her nearly impossible to read, keeping blockers guessing. Confident and composed, she runs the offense with her hitters flawlessly, creating constant challenges for opposing defenses. She is someone you definitely need to watch soon and you try to guess who she is running.
