About Mary

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am fast, defensive, aggressive and loud. Important things to me are communication and reading the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always try to be a good teammate and cheer on my team, on and off the court. I can be a perfectionist at times.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am currently working on getting my Congressional Award that focuses on volunteerism, character development and fitness.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills, learned to take criticism, follow instructions, work as a team, persistence, overcoming challenges and treating injuries.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

There will always be challenges within volleyball as it it is competitive, how I overcome is to always be on the grind, no breaks. Constantly work on myself, physical strength and my game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to go to school in an urban or suburban area with access to student housing and public transportation, if needed.
