About McKenzie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have been described as a utility player by my coaches as I have played outside, middle, setter & right side between my high school and club teams. For my sophomore season, I was a 6 rotation right side. I continue to be versatile and will take on the challenge of learning any new position or skill. I will be playing up this season with 3 of my schoolmates on NebraskaOne 17 Black as a right side.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Accepting of change. If it helps my team, it helps me. All my position changes have helped me become an all around better player and learn new aspects of each position.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am active in our sophomore class Friday devotion group at school.

Sidlo’s fascinating career progression continues. She made early waves with Lincoln Lutheran as a freshman while the Warriors were midway through their four-peat title streak. Sidlo can dominate as an opposite attacker and has also shown enough physicality to anchor the middle. However, her past club campaigns have also revealed Sidlo’s finesse as a back-row setter and signal-caller. Sidlo helped Nebraska ONE 17 Black climb into the GJNC field behind this setter-hitter onslaught. Now, the attacking part of the equation is reemerging with Sidlo racking up 2.7 kills per set on the prep side. Back and forth we go.
