Wiig undoubtedly has the length and net presence to compete at such a high level, and her development will continue into 2026. Sure, we have room for another opposite on the squad! Wiig has continued her ascent after making colossal gains toward the end of the club season. She brought a wealth of physicality to Nebraska ONE 15 Titanium’s right pin and was a shutdown blocker against Open-level attackers. Wiig’s showcase performance revealed her progress as a terminator, even as she was forming connections with unfamiliar setters. Her move to Lincoln Lutheran will immediately place her back in the prep spotlight.

Here’s another up-and-coming Lincoln native to watch. Wiig brought head-turning length to Nebraska Elite 15 Titanium’s lineup and oscillated between the middle blocker and opposite positions. She can shut down high-flying hitters with her block and has rapidly improved her footwork as a transition attacker. The fall season will bring another big chance to shine as Wiig joins Lincoln Lutheran’s title defense.
