Duncan not only has great physical tools to dominate the net on the court, but she is also a great teammate off the court. Duncan has such a funny personality, she keeps her teammates loose in between games. She frustrates opponents with her sound blocking technique and gets on top of balls to crush them to different parts of the court. It helps she has played with a number of her 17 Elite teammates a good bit over the years.

Duncan once again did a nice job forming walls at the net thus helping the LUV 17 Elite team make it to the 17 Gold round title game. She is especially tough when she doubles up with teammates. Duncan executes effective quicks and slides. She can also hit balls off blockers for big points. Described as enthusiastic, funny and competitive by teammates and close ones, Duncan records sound out of system sets.

Duncan (pictured) deserves several gold balls for her performance at the net in the win over Ashland. Duncan got up with teammates and turned back a number of balls at the net for the Knights. Duncan powers balls off blockers on offense and is tough on short sets, including quicks. Duncan said her parents talk to her before each game about winning the battles at the net, adding she tries to get hands on balls to help slow balls down for her teammates if she can’t block them.

Miller is an anchor player that teams can be built around. She has top level talent, is an extremely smart player and is a gamechanger on the court. She provides a wall at the net with her size and quick reflexes to produce nice lofty blocks solo or in tandem, moving easily up and down the net with perfect anticipation of the play. She will run a fast cunning slide with a lethal swing, will kill an overpass and has a strong explosive swing to get the job done and can dole out aces at hand. Miller is a crafty player that can produce a well placed tip or send a ball to the back court beyond the opposition for multiple points. She is laser sharp with court IQ and supports her teammates well on the court. She is one who will be at the top level at the next level no doubt!

Duncan (pictured) used her size to help the Knights dominate the net throughout the tournament. She consistently came through when the Knights needed a kill. Duncan said the Knights had to adjust to the Warren East power hitters. Duncan said Miller was really good as a lefty, but once the Knights got more touches on her, they slowed balls down and set up the attack.

Miller has a whole set of tools that help produce on the court consistently! She is an imposing player at the net and displays a strong swing with an explosive kill. She produces a solid block at the net with excellent timing, intimidating to the opposition. She can get herself quickly down the net with athleticism and purpose and does efficiently with a big swing step block to follow. Miller has excellent read of the play and has superb ball control to effectively score diversly, evident in an amazing left hand tip she produced in her most recent play. She finds way to accumulate points for her team and is all in on the court, including a great serve completing her dimension as a complete package! She is an athlete that is an asset to any team! No need to look further!

Duncan brings her enthusiasm for the game onto the court every time she takes it. Duncan uses her size well to take quick, solid swings and swing block at the net to shut down opposing attacks. Ducan does not back down after she’s blocked. She takes different swings trying to find holes on the other side of the court. Her teammates feed off her positive energy.
