In my opinion one of the better hitters to put away a quick tempo set. Olivia has the ability to power the ball left or right. Some middles have a tendency to always turn left. She led Bishop O’Connell with an impressive hitting percentage of .492.

At 6’1″ her approach jump hits 9’8″. Her long arm extension increases the height of her swing. Still needs some work on her reads with the blocks so she can get to the outside quicker.

She also has a strong serve but still needs to find a little more consistency finding the court. In my opinion a diamond in the rough that can only get better.

48-32. For Olivia sometimes I think the game comes too easily for her. She has the height and arm extension to avoid almost any block. Her swing is just as effective whether going right or left. This year she finished third on her team in kills with an incredible .492 hitting percentage. She also tied for the team lead in blocks.

Her swing could easily translate to the right side as well. Because of injuries to a couple of key hitters during the playoffs O’Connell tried using Olivia on the pins to get her more involved in the offense. It was a challenging transition to make., especially with the higher sets.

Another year at Virginia Elite playing against elite competition will only make her game better. Finding a way to improve her reads on the set will improve her reaching the pins to enhance her blocking.

With the offensive production initiated by the pins Macie Murray Macie Murray 5'11" | OH Bishop O'Connell | 2027 State VA and Carolyn Maria Carolyn Maria 6'1" | S/RS Bishop O'Connell | 2029 State VA , sometimes Olivia is overlooked. She stands out as one of the better offensive middles in the game. Her kill percentage flashes out at an impressive .474.

She ranks third on the team in kills and first in blocks. Her blocking could be better with quicker movement to the outside. On her swings she can strike the ball equally hard hitting to either the right side or left side.

Against Holy Cross she had 9 kills in 12 attempts after three sets. In the fourth set Holy Cross put more effort in stopping her. She was limited to two kills in six attempts.

An overlooked player who can also impact a game.
