Currently ranked #3 among Arizona freshmen in kills, Sophia Gregg Sophia Gregg 6'1" | S/RS Perry | 2029 State AZ has already racked up 174 kills, establishing herself as a go-to offensive weapon for the Pumas. Her ability to terminate from the pin, combined with her smart shot selection and court awareness, makes her a constant threat at the net—regardless of the level of competition across from her.

She’s also contributing in key areas outside of attacking. With 22 aces from the service line and 64 digs in the back row, Sophia continues to show she’s a complete, six-rotation player who adds value in every phase of the game. Her setting background gives her an edge in reading plays, adjusting to out-of-system balls, and staying composed in pressure situations.

One of Sophia’s breakout performances came in a high-intensity matchup against #3-ranked Hamilton, where she delivered 20 kills in a hard-fought four-set battle. While the Pumas came up just short, Sophia’s offensive firepower helped keep her team in contention throughout, proving she can go toe-to-toe with some of the top talent in the state.

Sophia’s freshman season is only the beginning. With her skill set and competitive drive, she’s already a cornerstone of the Perry program.
