Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a fierce competitor and love to learn and win. I also love the comradery that I build with my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

When it comes to play, I’m focused on my job and my part to contribute to the team. I have fun in the competition. I practice just as hard to be ready to compete; I never miss a practice or am goofing off in practice.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a part of my high school’s ASB as a senior officer and am a part of the LINK crew at Glacier PeakHS. Examples of events I’ve led while being a part of ASB and LINK crew is Senior Mothers Tea and the winter pep assembly in addition to many other events where I’ve helped.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m dedicated to my community; in addition to the activities I’ve done with LINK crew and ASB, I volunteer to do the scorebook and lines at Valley View middle school that feeds into Glacier Peak, I’ve done yard work at Glacier Peak, and over all I’m a student that my community can depend on in whatever way in which they need me.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’m beginning to face some challenges in the fields that I’d like to pursue as a career; either construction management or architecture. These fields tend to be male dominated, however, I’m passionate about design and leadership and am prepared to face some hardships due to my gender. I feel as though volleyball has taught me the skills in hard work and leadership to prepare me for this journey.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has construction management or architecture as a degree choice and shares the same mentality of competition that I do. I am focused on my education and volleyball, as you can see through my film and volleyball awards. I am willing to work hard for my team and coaches and look forward to playing in college.
