Highlights
Andrews is an impressive athlete to watch in action. She is a true six-rotation outside hitter with a solid foundation in all skills. With a fast arm swing and a good vertical jump, her attack proved deadly on Sunday. Consistently connecting with the ball resulted in some powerful kills. She showcases solid ball control on serve receive and good defensive reaction time. Andrews will be an exciting one to watch over the next few years.
Buerkle is a talented all-around athlete with the ability to step into any position on the court and exceed. Trained as a setter, she has a soft touch on the ball and does an excellent job with consistent set location. When attacking, she is smart, with a powerful swing. Buerkle’s demeanor on the court is calm, confident, and positive.
Kincaid is a dynamic middle blocker that plays well beyond her years. Standing at 6’2”, the body awareness and control she has is not often seen at her age. She is aggressive at the net, athletic on defense and offense, quick in transition, and has an incredibly high reach on the ball. Her blocking is also quite impressive, taking away a lot of angles for the opposing attacker.
Highlights
Johnson is an explosive attacker who has begun her transition to the outside after spending the bulk of her career in the middle. With some serious hops and a quick arm, she can do serious damage from any position on the court. Johnson has the makings of being a top six-rotation pin hitter if she dials in on her ball control and back row abilities over this next club season.
Heinle stepped on the court with confidence and made an impression amongst a huge group of defensive specialists. Technically, she is sound and made some major, scrappy plays to keep the ball alive. With a solid platform, she is consistent on serve receive, and defense. With a tough standing float serve, she can do some serious damage from the service line as well.
Orizotti showcases a lot of potential and made improvements to her game throughout the morning. Fairly new to the position, having trained as an outside hitter/defensive specialist until this high school season, she stepped on the court with confidence in her abilities. She has the makings of being a talented six-rotation setter with solid fundamentals across the board.
