Our latest Nebraska 2026 Watch List update has just dropped, and dozens of players have been added. It’s worth noting that this is still a watch list, so players are only sorted alphabetically by last name. Much more time and observation are needed before we attempt any numerical sorting.
With that in mind, we’re putting some extra emphasis on new additions in this update. In fact, we might need a three-part series for this one.
Let’s get it started.
Nebraska Elite will be represented through many of our new additions to the 2026 watch list. Barrett from 15 Prime is one of those new names, and we’ll be following this athletic opposite closely as qualifiers ramp up.
We’ll stay with 15 Prime to introduce Bartholet, a setter who will take her talents to Omaha Skutt Catholic on the prep side. If this Nebraska Elite group wants to make some noise on the national stage, Bartholet’s skill and savvy distribution will factor heavily in those goals.
Bartling is an attacker you’ll want to keep tabs on among Nebraska’s best six-rotation 2026s. Her effortless elevation on the left pin is a product of her tireless work ethic, but that only scratches the surface of Bartling’s positive qualities. She even brings some beach volleyball experience to the table that help her read the game in every rotation. 15 Phoenix might have a go-to attacker right here.

Behrns is quickly emerging as one of the most exciting small-town talents in Nebraska’s 2026 class. She is a long, dynamic lefty who defies the notion of automatically slotting a left-handed hitter on the right pin. Instead, Behrns does her damage on the left side for VCNebraska 15 Elite and has brought some killer backcourt instincts to the fray, too.
How about another VCNebraska lefty on the left pin? This club is clearly not afraid to mix things up in the frontcourt, and Bellamy’s role with 15 Black offers a great example. Not only will this Lincoln Southwest standout spend some time on the left side, but she can also play as a rare left-handed middle blocker. Bellamy’s versatility is already shining at the 15s level.
Marian High School really ran up the score among our latest 2026 additions, and Blair is one of those that we’ll discuss this week. Being five-foot-five hasn’t stopped Blair from making some impact plays at outside hitter in addition to her strong defensive instincts in the backcourt.
Blankenau offers the length and physicality that will keep 15 Prime competitive in the front row. Better yet, this Gretna freshman’s vast experience in track and field translates to some impressive measurables when she plays middle blocker.
Bodnar is the first Premier Nebraska athlete to appear on this feature series. This multi-talented setter has already made a big impact with Omaha Duchesne on the prep side, both as a setter and a defensive specialist who can lock down serve receive. That unique array of skills will put Bodnar in the spotlight again as she competes with Premier 15 Silver this spring.

Here’s another athlete whose knows about making an immediate prep impact. Boehlke’s hard-hitting style made her an instant contributor with Fremont, a team that is always among Class A’s frontrunners. She is now one of many Tigers coming through the Nebraska Elite program with the club’s top 15s group.
Did I mention Nebraska Elite has several Fremont standouts? Boehlke joins forces with Brandt on 15 Phoenix to generate some year-round dominance on the Nebraska volleyball scene. Brandt also boasts some beach experience that makes her well-rounded athlete who can play outside hitter or libero.
Let’s bring Club Legacy into the mix. Cox is one of several rangy attackers we’ll be following from the club’s 15 Alpha group, and the Show Me Qualifier in Kansas City will offer a much more detailed scouting report.
Davie is yet another defender we’ll be following from Nebraska Elite 15 Prime. This team’s platoon of liberos could be considered a major strength, and we’ll find out if this is the case in the coming weeks.
Premier 15 Black gets a handful of new entries in the 2026 watch list, and Dickerson is one that stands out right away. Her influence on the team’s serving, backcourt defense, and blocking cannot be ignored. Having such an all-encompassing skill set is a good way to break into our watch lists.
Douan looms large alongside Dickerson as a significant force for Premier 15 Black. When this squad needs a kill, Douan is a sure bet on the right pin in three-hitter rotations. Things are about to get serious for Douan and her team with the Northern Lights Qualifier just a few days away.
River City Jrs gets on the board in this feature, and there are several more 15 Navy athletes yet to come. Dutcher represents this group well as a stout setter who takes her talents to Omaha Gross Catholic during the high school season.
We’ve had plenty of discussions regarding the small-town talent feeding into VCNebraska’s teams. Eggerling is another one of those hidden gems at the 15s level. The Crete native is quickly making a name for herself with some highlight moments at the outside hitter spot.

Faust gets a nod among Premier 15 Black’s newest entries. Her precision at the setter spot has shined already this year, and Faust has a chance to take that success and turn it into a bid.
Here’s another River City Jrs athlete we’ll be watching at regional events. 15 Navy gets plenty of contributions from this setter beyond just running the offense, as Frandson can dig in and play floor defense as if she were a libero.

Finally, we’ll exhibit the true depth of Nebraska Elite with yet another 15s team that’s giving us names for the watch list. Freeman represents 15 Extreme, a team that should have plenty to prove as big Midwest event start cropping up for this age group.
