Berry* is currently the 5th ranked setter in the 2025 Prep Dig Rankings, and just led Wenatchee to the 4A State Championship. The ace beach athlete plays gritty defense, makes great decisions for her attackers and plays much bigger than her listed height at the net. The 2025 prospect checks in currently as the Prep Dig Washington #6 ranked setter in the junior class. The Tahoma Bears benefited from having Foote run the offense from the back row allowing another terrific 2025 setter, Annikah Wright to take swings from the pin. Tahoma battled their way into the state tournament behind Foote’s solid set location, enthusiasm and toughness on defense. The junior shows tremendous footwork moving to balls past the 10 foot line, pivoting smoothly off one leg and delivering a money ball to her pins to terminate. Foote will be dishing for DaKine Volleyball Club 17 this club season.

The Wesco first teamer is a versatile setter and opposite with an effortless ability to flick the ball out on a dime to either pin. She has a neutral hand set up as she delivers to her attackers, holding defenders and finding the best matchups available. Eastwood was a stat stuffer for Jackson this season, recording over 100 kills, nearly 200 digs and 515 assists. She is well trained, consistent and loves to see her teammates make a big play.

The 5’10 junior from Bellarmine Prep had an excellent season, helping to lead the Lions into the 4A state tournament before dropping two tough matchups against Camas and Gonzaga Prep. Taitano recorded 800 assists and just over 200 digs on the year, highlighting her willingness to play defense first and ability to quickly transition to take the second ball and deliver with good location. She plays an extremely deceptive dump over on two, and is willing to push it from the 10 foot line with her excellent length.
Togia* is a strong and capable mover of the ball. She can find attackers in any spot on the court with accuracy and tempo, and has no problem setting against the flow to create favorable opportunities for her team. Her connection with MB Lauren Wiese Lauren Wiese 6’3″ | MB Eastside Catholic | 2025 State WA * is nearly automatic, Togia can push the slide from well past the centerline of the net and count on Wiese to crush it for a kill. With strong hands, good court vision and a solid read of the game, Togia is a very solid setter blocking and making plays in the 5-1.

Mairs had a leg wrapped up heavily at state- and still battled with her Camas team through a loaded field for a 6th place finish. She reminded everyone why she is the top ranked prospect for the class of 2025, showing off her impressive mix of finesse and power at both the setter and right side positions. A super high dig does not stop Mairs in any way from making the best possible set to any place on the court, she has the strength and touch to deliver any pass on target for her attackers. She is creative as a setter as well, dishing from awkward and unexpected angles if that’s what it takes to find a good option- and having vision and smarts to know where that option is located. Mairs competes hard, is supportive of her team and is easily one of the best right sides in the state as well: a unique prospect.
Several other excellent 2025 setters remain uncommitted as well, and college coaches will be picking up recruiting as their seasons end. Division 1 begins its 2024 contact period on February 16, 2024, allowing coaches to see prospects at tournaments in person. Check out the recruiting calendar using the link below.
