All-Deck Team: Kansas 2026 Club All-Stars

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>For me, the Club season has wrapped up and I am working on scheduling college camps and combines to attend for all three sports that I scout for Prep Network.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is the second All-Star squad from the club season. This one features athletes from the Class of 2026. The only requirements I gave myself were that I had to have seen each athlete play at least one club match this season, I limited myself to a team of 10 athletes, and I could only choose two players from the same club team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I watched this age group several times in preparation for a rankings update which made narrowing the group to 10 a difficult task.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523702' first='Baylen' last='Arnold']</strong>, 5'4”, L, Concordia, (Manhattan Mamba 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Arnold is one of the top liberos in the state and is currently ranked No. 59 overall by Prep Dig. She finished with 13 serve receptions and eight digs in the two Mamba matches I watched one weekend. She makes consistent first passes and has solid lateral movement.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357544' first='Suttyn' last='Harris']</strong>, MB, Inman, ([program_tooltip program_id='432164' first='Fight' last='Club'] 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>It should be no surprise to find Harris on this list. In two Power League matches I scouted this season, the Inman prospect racked up a total of 15 kills, six digs, five serve receptions, and four aces. This month Harris jumped up into the No. 1 spot in the Prep Dig Kansas rankings for the Class of 2026.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='357548' first='Reese' last='Huscher']</strong>, 5'8”, OH/DS, Hayden, '26 (Topeka Saints 17-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have seen Huscher play multiple times, and each time I found something in her game that I feel she improved on. She racked up 11 digs, eight serve receptions, and two kills in two matches with the Saints during a power league event I scouted. She is an unselfish player and I will need at least one of those on this All-Star squad. Huscher is ranked No. 46 overall in the most recent rankings for the class. Since I have only one true libero on this team, Huscher will be a major asset on the back row.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='523672' first='Chloe' last='Kmiecik']</strong> , 6'2”, MH, De Soto ( [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kmiecik was one of the top middles I saw this club season. She swings hard and makes the ball cry after crunching it. She recorded seven kills for the Power in one match I watched. The De Soto prospect is currently ranked No. 47 overall among her 2026 peers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='355651' first='Neely' last='Leathers']</strong>, 5'10”, S, Olathe West, ( [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'] 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I have multiple setters on this squad who can also hit. The Power's setter is more of a true setter and the best defensive player in this group of setters.  She filled up her stat line with eight assists, seven digs, two serve receptions, and one kill in a match I scouted. Prep Dig currently has the powerful Owl ranked No. 28 overall and as the fourth-ranked setter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222089' first='Grace' last='Martin']</strong>, 5'11”, OH, St. Thomas Aquinas, ([program_tooltip program_id='515466' first='Pohaku' last=''] 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Martin is the No. 6 ranked player in the Class of 2026. She is a six-rotation talent, who can pound a ball when she gets on top of it. She finished one match with nine digs, five kills, and seven serve receptions. She is one of multiple athletes on this squad who can really get high when she jumps. She racked up three kills, four digs, four serve receptions, two blocks, and one ace in a match I scouted. She finished with 10 digs, seven kills, three serve receptions, and two aces in one match I scouted. Slaughter is one of the most athletic prospects that I saw this club season. She is a solid hitter with a smooth approach. The [program_tooltip program_id='515466' first='Pohaku' last=''] hitter collected four kills and three blocks in a match I scouted. Multiple college and club coaches shared with me how much they respect her game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='489775' first='Brynna' last='Zoeller']</strong>, 5'10”, S/OPP, Rock Creek, (Manhattan Mamba 16-1)</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Zoeller is one of the more interesting prospects I saw during the club season. I don't know if she is a better prospect at setter or attacker, but she can play collegiate volleyball at either spot. She finished with three kills, three digs, four aces, and three blocks.
