Prep Dig Kansas published the initial Class of 2028 rankings this morning, including 50 ranked athletes.

Athletes, parents, and coaches can click on the “How We Rank” story under the “Rankings” menu to learn more about the ranking process. Readers can also reference an earlier report on the Top 10 ranked athletes to learn more about this particular ranking process.

The main reason for the rankings now is to get athletes early exposure and to preview a group of freshmen who could be impact players for their respective high schools, however, not all will make their varsity teams as freshmen. The main importance is that each ranked player now has early exposure for the college, high school, and club coaches who subscribe to our website.

Here is the second report on 10 athletes in the Kansas Class of 2028. This one features athletes ranked No. 11-20 and happens to include three sets of twin sisters.

[player_tooltip player_id='518345' first='Nyah' last='Harris'], 5'8”, S, Blue Valley West

The first set of twins in the 2028 rankings is the Harris Twins. [player_tooltip player_id='518345' first='Nyah' last='Harris'] enters the rankings in the No. 11 spot. She plays setter and is just a tick quicker than her sister. The future Blue Valley West prospect is from an athletic bloodline.

[player_tooltip player_id='518347' first='Aliyah' last='Harris'], 5'8”, OH, Blue Valley West

[player_tooltip player_id='518347' first='Aliyah' last='Harris'] is a bit stronger than her higher-ranked sister. [player_tooltip player_id='518347' first='Aliyah' last='Harris'] debuts in the Prep Dig ranking in the No. 12 position. She is quite athletic and the two sisters thrive on competition.

[player_tooltip player_id='518360' first='Jensen' last='Kubik'], 5'11”, OH, Blue Valley West

Kubik is the third Blue Valley West prospect in the rankings which speaks to the depth of talent that the program could have in the future. Kubik is a tall prospect with a big reach. She enters the rankings in the No. 13 slot.

[player_tooltip player_id='523955' first='Bailey' last='Kelly'], 5'7”, RS, Great Bend

The second set of twin sisters in the rankings call Great Bend home. [player_tooltip player_id='523955' first='Bailey' last='Kelly'] is ranked No. 14 overall in the rankings. She has a solid net approach and was a solid weapon in the Central Kansas Rampage's offensive system.

[player_tooltip player_id='523954' first='Brooklyn' last='Kelly'], 5'6”, OH, Great Bend

[player_tooltip player_id='523954' first='Brooklyn' last='Kelly'] like her sister is also very athletic. She played on the same club team as her sister and is ranked No. 15 by Prep Dig. Bailey was ranked one slot higher basically, because she was just about an inch taller. The Kelly twins have a bright future, and I expect they will play multiple sports for the Panthers.

[player_tooltip player_id='518349' first='Sanaa' last='Woodberry'], 5'8”, MB, Olathe West

Woodberry is the second future Olathe West Owl to land in the rankings. She has a nice combination of size and quickness and debuts in the rankings at No. 16 overall. Woodberry played on the same club team as the Harris Twins for [program_tooltip program_id='430200' first='KC' last='Power'].

[player_tooltip player_id='518357' first='Lily' last='Windberg'], 5'9”, MB, Olathe Northwest

Windberg is an athletic attacker who could hit middle or outside in the future. She is expected to enroll at Olathe Northwest, and enters the rankings at No. 17.

[player_tooltip player_id='518379' first='Grace' last='Bengfort'], 5'8”, OH, Shawnee Mission Northwest

Prep Dig has Bengfort ranked No. 18 overall. She plays with grit and could be a future six-rotation player.

[player_tooltip player_id='523957' first='Bryleigh' last='Brockman'], 5'8”, MB, Blue Valley (Randolph)

The third set of twin sisters ranked in the Top 20 in the Class of 2028 are the Brockman sisters who will compete for the Blue Valley Rams in Randolph, KS. [player_tooltip player_id='523957' first='Bryleigh' last='Brockman'] played middle for her club team but is a versatile athlete who can play multiple positions and sports. Brockman is ranked No. 19.

[player_tooltip player_id='523959' first='Braylnn' last='Brockman'], 5'8”, OH, Blue Valley (Randolph)

[player_tooltip player_id='523959' first='Braylnn' last='Brockman'] is ranked one slot behind her sister and rounds out the Top 20. She like her sister will be leaned on to lead her small-school program. Both sisters played for the Manhattan Mayhem and I was impressed by how they communicated with each other and their teammates.
