We’ve alluded to Harris’ dynamic positional designation before. When KC Power 16-1 visited Premier Nebraska to kick off the 2026 season, Harris dazzled us with her high-flying swings on the left pin. Her natural outside approach made it easy to forget that she lit up the Kansas prep scene as a middle last fall. Harris soared as one of the state’s top slide terminators and boasted a 0.313 hitting clip for Blue Valley West. This stint showed that Harris is just as effective off of one foot as she is on two. Either spot projects well for Harris in the college ranks.

Another feature starts at Blue Valley West. Harris added to the Jaguars’ championship-winning firepower last year with nearly 250 total kills on a 0.313 attacking clip. Her efficiency numbers set the pace for Kansas sophomores, but those statistics are only part of what makes Harris’ sophomore season so compelling. She dominated at the middle blocker spot, painting a stark contrast to her outside-driven success with KC Power 16-1. Harris boasts rare positional versatility that will make her a must-follow prospect in the Class of 2028.

Power ‘] 16-1 strikes again. I’ve been enamored with this group since it made a January trek up north to compete at one of Premier Nebraska’s early-season invites. Harris has been a persistent standout since the 2026 campaign began, and she has continued to find her stride through the qualifier grind. The Blue Valley West sophomore has a compact, explosive approach that allows her to make the most of out-of-system plays. Harris combines that with a willingness to stand in the passing pattern and provide first-contact stability in the KC Power lineup. This team’s development on the Open stage has been fascinating to follow, and Harris has grown alongside her peers.

Two more Blue Valley West prospects will find themselves among the top-ranked prospects, and they happen to be sisters. Their father was an athletic beast, and I know, because I once coached him on the gridiron. Harris finished third for the champion Jaguars in kills with 245 in 87 sets played. She also saw a huge increase in playing time and blocks during her sophomore season. She tallied 51 blocks as opposed to 13 as a freshman. Harris also has a mean serve, resulting in 112 aces in her first two prep seasons.

She is way quicker than I remember her being last season. Like her twin sister, she has a physical frame and plays with a high volleyball IQ. She was also impressive when she and Woodberry were blocking as a duo. She can elevate with the best of them and has a nice touch as a setter.
