Woodberry is ranked No. 32 overall. I don’t travel to Kansas City much during the regular season, but Olathe West is a team that I have caught more than once in the past two seasons. Woodberry is another athlete who follows me on X, and she promotes herself well on social media. She posted a ton of club highlights this past season, and that inspires me to want to fit an Owl match into my busy schedule.

Woodberry was a player I was excited about seeing play heading into the event, and she did not disappoint me. She finished with two kills in the win over PVA . She is a physical athlete and plays aggressively. The Power can be a frustrating team to scout because they have weapons. At times, I wanted to see more of Woodberry or one of the other hitters, but they were taking their turn in rotation. A squad that deep has to be unselfish. I never got a sense that playing time was an issue for Woodberry or any of the other hitters, and trust me, I was looking for hanging heads or poor body language.
