A skilled and gritty SVA 17 Joe team went kneepad to kneepad with PSVBA, finishing second after a thrilling 25-17, 19-25, 13-15 three-set classic final match.
Dakine 17 Surf and Seattle Juniors 17 battled in the 3rd/4th match, with Dakine winning 25-16, 27-25. Both teams ran on adrenaline, and Dakine had just enough left in the tank to close the match. USAV Nationals are set for early July in Las Vegas, Nevada- “The Entertainment Capital Of The World” seems to quickly be transforming into “The Club Volleyball Capital Of The World.” Like it or not!
The setter from Bellarmine Prep was a difference maker for PSVBA 17 Legacy, running the show from a 5-1 and giving her attackers consistent scoring opportunities in and out of system. Taitano is smooth setting on the move, releasing off the net after blocking and pushing the ball to the pin off one foot with a relaxed flow and accurate set. The 2025 is playing excellent defense and is a leader on the floor for her PSVBA team.
Lindow is a stand out performer for her SVA squad, and a 2025 setter prospect who continues to grow her game. Lindow operates out of a 5-1, and has the ability to score and keep defenses honest. She does a tremendous job holding the block, and her hitters enjoy swings with blockers late to close. The Chief Sealth athlete plays the game with great IQ, and consistently makes the right choices on the floor.

The 2025 from Lynnwood provided energy and scoring punch all weekend for Seattle Juniors. Holmer battled hard, she plays with intensity as a six-rotation outside, and wants the swing in big moment. It was an impressive tournament performance for Holmer, displaying a competitive fire and a willingness to take a hard swing in clutch spots.
SVA 17 Joe looks to McCraw to deliver the hammer, and the 2025 from Kennedy Catholic was happy to oblige. She is a scorer; she can take a set that’s not perfect and still put heat into a swing and give her team a chance. McCraw was finding the deep corner or slamming kills off of blockers hands, she does a great job producing when her team needs it.

Williams was the go to when Dakine 17 Surf needed a kill in a crucial situation. She was splitting the block consistently and terminating on the right side, setters Lola Togia and Isabelle Foote are both willing and able to reverse the flow and find Williams for “1” up swings. Williams also dropped in a devastating soft tip right over the top of the block, and teams had no answer for it after watching her score with big swings all over the court.
Dent has dialed in a hard angle swing, she is able to cut it below the 10 foot line with pace. The junior from Cascade Christian was scoring at a high rate throughout the tournament, at 6’3″ she has a terrific contact point and has cranked up her shot making. Dent is a verbal commit to Saint Mary’s in the West Coast Conference, and has another year and change to continue her growth as a six-rotation standout.
