Past Prep Dig Nebraska Showcase Standouts Heading to GJNC (Pt. 3)

Our showcase events have led to great discoveries, updated scouting reports, and so many lasting memories. This series on GJNC-bound showcase alums has offered a chance to relive some of those memories as we look ahead to July's next events. When she competed on our showcase circuit, she demonstrated her game-changing ability at the middle blocker spot. However, Pillay's junior season with Papillion-La Vista was characterized by her willingness to step in as an outside hitter. This versatile attacker terminated on so many tough swings as the Monarchs marched to the Class A title match. Link then moved to [program_tooltip program_id='428717' first='Nebraska' last='ONE'] 17 Synergy for this year's club season and has become a frontcourt force for her Open-qualified squad. Rasmussen kicks things off after making huge strides with [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 17 Elite in late-season action. The Lincoln East standout started her rankings climb after locking down the net at one of our showcase events. This translated to several more highlight moments in the VCN gym, especially during 17 Elite's triumphant weekend in Salt Lake City. Larsen climbed the ladder at Premier Nebraska this year to bring her setter-opposite duality to 17 Gold. She led this group as a frontcourt attacker and a fearless setter who generated a ton of flashy plays. We've even seen Larsen thrive as a primary passer at our showcases, so any spot in the lineup works for this versatile athlete. This Shelton High School star wielded incredible intensity and competitive fire in our showcases, and Branson ramps it up a notch on the club stage. She scored in so many clutch situations as South Central NE 16 Black made its repeat run to the Show Me Qualifier finale. Branson is the kind of hitter who won't be denied when allowed to touch the ball. That includes her work in the back row, which is quickly becoming another strength in Branson's arsenal. Lamb is a crucial piece of that puzzle with her ability to lock down both pin-hitting positions. This Omaha Westside attacker earned plenty of reps during last year's state tournament and kept elevating her game in 2024. The Lincoln Southwest prep athlete has offered multi-dimensional contributions with [program_tooltip program_id='428743' first='VCNebraska' last=''] 16 Elite and has ample experience in Open-level competitions. 16 Elite has thrived off of Hazzard's quick tempo and consistent location from pin to pin.
