<p>A lot will be happening this Tuesday, September 24, with hundreds of matches taking place in the state, some of which are very promising ones, reuniting teams that look poised to have excellent seasons.</p>

<p>We picked three of them to feature as you prepare for an intense day of high school action in Texas:</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Harlan vs. Warren - 5:30 PM @ Harlan HS</h2>

<p>If you're in the San Antonio area, make sure to catch the District 28 matchup between Harlan and Warren. The Harlan Hawks are having an excellent season, with 25 wins and five losses, and currently rank third in the district with four wins and one loss. Junior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='318144' first='Jaci' last='Hall'] (212 kills, 166 digs, 314 passes, 31 aces) has been a stud for them. Other pillars of the team are senior outside hitter Thaila Yancey (190 kills, 156 digs, 331 passes), senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='212741' first='Isabella' last='De La Rosa'] (398 assists, 158 digs, 38 aces), junior middle Damya Mann (147 kills, 45 blocks) and senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='212735' first='Brooklyn' last='Vigil'] (197 digs, 327 passes, 33 aces).</p>

<p>The Warren Warriors have 16 wins and 13 losses since the start of the season and are right above Harlan in district play, in second place with five wins and one loss. Senior outside hitter Jenna Skelton (249 kills, 216 digs, 247 passes) and senior middle Taylar Thompson (201 kills, 56 blocks) have been splitting the team's scoring load. Senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='236580' first='Naomi' last='Gamboa'] (585 assists, 318 digs, sophomore libero Hailey Tobias (538 digs, 343 passes, 14 aces) and senior outside hitter Azalea Deleon (98 kills, 309 digs, 324 passes, 27 aces) are other important pieces in the team.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Manvel vs. Dawson - 6:30 PM @ Manvel HS</h2>

<p>In Houston, District 22 rivals Manvel and Dawson will feature in one of the most exciting duels of the day. The Manvel Mavericks have 21 wins and nine losses in their first season as a division 6A team and rank third in the district with four wins and two losses. Leading them on the court are junior right side/outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='254283' first='Nevaeh' last='English'] (294 kills, 114 digs, 206 passes, 41 aces), senior setter [player_tooltip player_id='179904' first='Kenedy' last='Massie'] (674 assists, 177 digs, 27 aces, 24 blocks), junior middle Kaycee Pennie (209 kills, 35 blocks), junior libero Sami Guikema (207 digs, 240 passes, 27 aces) and junior defensive specialist Emerson Chang (197 digs, 195 passes).</p>

<p>The Dawson Eagles have a nearly identical campaign, with 21 wins and ten losses, and rank fourth in district play, with the same four wins and two losses of their opponents. Senior right side/middle [player_tooltip player_id='201144' first='Kennedy' last='Michelle Jones'] (203 kills, 27 blocks) has been excellent for them at the net. The Eagles are also counting on great production from junior outside hitter Sloane Ranney (168 kills, 161 digs, 355 passes), junior middle [player_tooltip player_id='318191' first='Keaton' last='Points'] (168 kills, 30 blocks), junior setter Taylor Ranney (750 assists, 193 digs), senior outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='442949' first='Emmarie' last='McFarland'] (131 kills, 225 digs, 268 passes, 34 aces) and junior libero [player_tooltip player_id='530380' first='Jenna' last='Thedford'] (416 digs, 406 passes, 36 aces).</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Centennial vs. Frisco - 6:30 PM @ Centennial HS</h2>

<p>In the Dallas area, the Division 5A, District 11 duel between Centennial and Frisco should be an exciting one. The Centennial Titans have a 25-9 win record for the season and are the fourth-best team in the district with two wins and one loss. Star freshman outside hitter Zoe Patel (277 kills, 322 digs, 359 passes) has been a revelation for them. Other key players for the Titans are junior setter [player_tooltip player_id='241932' first='Madison' last='Victoriano'] (714 assists, 329 digs, 122 kills, 62 aces, 40 blocks), senior libero Ashlyn Jones (345 digs, 364 passes, 30 aces), sophomore middle [player_tooltip player_id='848525' first='Kirsten' last='Mott'] (84 kills, 61 blocks) and junior outside hitter Abigale Byrd (172 kills, 58 digs, 172 passes).</p>

<p>The Frisco Raccoons got 14 wins and 12 losses in their season so far and are undefeated in district play, sitting at the top of the standings with a pair of triumphs. Sophomore outside hitter Elise Murtha (97 kills, 39 digs, 81 passes) has been one of their key players, alongside senior middle Cameron Cecil (73 kills, 53 blocks, 16 aces), junior setter Cleo Chang (222 assists, 82 digs, 30 aces) and senior libero [player_tooltip player_id='433609' first='Kayla' last='Green'] (52 digs, 82 passes).</p>
