All Expo Team – Session 1 – PDT250

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The amount of talent attending the Minnesota Top 250 Expo this Sunday was so exciting. It's going to take a bit to get through all my notes but there were so many all-around athletes. We saw powerful swings, great energy, and fun vibes among our awesome attendees. I always enjoy seeing playing gel and have a great experience with other players they've never met before. She has solid elevation and a high contact point that helps her terminate. Wilke can contribute from either pin and she is sound in serve receive. She commands control and operates as a very physical setter with solid technique and great footwork. One thing I loved was her ability to really play anywhere in the front row and change between positions seamlessly. Fjerstad stood out right away because of her length and athleticism. She can hang in the air and almost levitate as she waits for the ball to enter her airspace. When the time is right she takes a lightning-fast swing to terminate. She has a heavy arm that packs a serious punch. Schmidt has the ability to terminate from anywhere on the net due to her high contact point and fast swing on the ball. She does not hesitate to take the 2nd ball when the setter is out and she is a great communicator. Viney does a nice job creating angles with a lot of platform control. She has great footwork and a high contact point making her set selection hard to read. Peck has a fast release on the ball and good location. She can terminate from anywhere on the net because of her high contact point and really fast swing. She is physical and isn't afraid to lead by example. She is highly athletic and even in warm-up she showed up ready to get things going. She has a quite literal rocket for an arm and she is really aggressive at the net. Mullally is smooth at the net and she can swing high and hard from either pin.
