This group has exceptional athletes, transformative leaders, and state champions. Some will stick around to compete in the 18s club season, while others will jump right into the next stage of their careers or pursuits.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Let's start our post-release coverage with a look at the final Top 25--a list full of unforgettable names.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">Movers</span></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Our latest update still showed some movement, even considering how long the 2025s have been in the spotlight.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Grand Island's star outside hitter shifted up one spot to No. 2. This reflects the new level of dominance that [player_tooltip player_id='155042' first='Tia' last='Traudt'] exhibited this year as she led the Islanders to the Class A semifinals. Being among the state's leaders in kills and hitting efficiency is a rare feat, but Traudt is no ordinary terminator.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Speaking of Class A stars, Papio South setter-hitter [player_tooltip player_id='155053' first='Charlee' last='Solomon'] rocketed up to No. 9 after clinching another state title this fall. Her leadership in a lineup full of young athletes was indispensable. Solomon's ability to perform any skill imaginable on the volleyball court cemented her rise.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='155050' first='Mattie' last='Dalton'] keeps climbing. The Fremont pin hitter tallied some of the most incredible scoring numbers we've seen in a while, and she rounded out her game as a true six-rotation threat. [player_tooltip player_id='155030' first='Anna' last='Jelinek'] headlines this group after compiling 4.5 kills per set en route to Norris' first Class B title in a decade. Of course, Jelinek is lauded for a lot more than her offense and was one of the state's most defensively proficient pin hitters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='189328' first='Rya' last='Borer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='189321' first='Lexi' last='Hasselbalch'] join Jelinek on the list of Top 25 Titans. Borer helped anchor the defense alongside Jelinek, while Hasselbalch's unmatched frontcourt versatility gave Norris an edge in first-ball offense. This trio has ushered in a new era in Class B.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Omaha Skutt Catholic's reign in Class B was helped by Top 25 honorees [player_tooltip player_id='173527' first='Abbie' last='Hagedorn'] and [player_tooltip player_id='155052' first='Kiera' last='Link']. Hagedorn started her career as an opposite before moving over to the left side during her upperclassman years. Her physicality was accompanied by Link, and shutdown middle whose blocking numbers were consistently atop the state leaderboards.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Four-for-four isn't bad, either. This segment has to include [player_tooltip player_id='155029' first='Keri' last='Leimbach'], our wire-to-wire No. 1 player in Nebraska's Class of 2025. She backed up the high honor by compiling a perfect career record in tournament matches with Lincoln Lutheran. Liberos aren't often given this top-spot distinction, but we wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
