Hasselbalch has dazzled us throughout her prep career as a versatile athlete who can play in the middle or on the right. Hasselbalch competed on the Prep Dig Circuit right as she appeared on our radar. That was a while ago, but Hasselbalch revealed her adaptability as a middle blocker and a right-side hitter. She has a similar hybrid role with Nebraska ONE 17 Synergy, which clinched another Open bid in Chicago. Hasselbalch is amassing some strong reps with a lot of different attacking routes in her arsenal. This will make her a tough player to defend as 17 Synergy looks to build off last year’s podium finish.
