Owens (pictured) is as tough as anyone in the state when she generates a lot of power into balls. Defenders have to be in the right position or they are tough to dig up. Owens is trying to become a solid all-around player also putting forth solid effort on defense. Owens also has incredible timing on her blocks and is a consistent server. Owens had 467 kills, 32 assisted blocks, 264 digs and 50 aces for the Defenders this past fall.

Mahorn will help this team form a solid front line. Mahorn hustles hard on every play. She mixes up her hits very well making great in-air adjustments. Mahorn can deliver in a number of ways. She makes great passes, blocks tough shots and quickly reacts to tipped balls to keep plays alive. Mahorn is the ultimate team player constantly motivating teammates vocally and by example. Mahorn had 446 kills, 228 digs, 50 aces and 20 solo blocks for Woodford County this past fall.

Bohannon has shown she is ready to lead the quick offense for Assumption in the fall. The Appalachian State commit does a good job moving her feet to make sound sets. Bohannon can set balls short and long at a number of different angles, including back sets. Bohannon also uses her athleticism well to track down balls. Bohannon had 224 assists to go with 49 digs for the state champion Rockets this past fall.

Ryan does a great job using her size to control the net. Ryan can send balls flying to the back row from the middle and pins. She also hits balls well off blockers. Ryan is a solid swing blocker for Evansville North.

Smith does a wonderful job squaring her arms up with balls and pushing them forward for consistent two to three-point passes. Smith is not afraid to extend her arms to pop balls in the air and keep plays alive. Smith also does a great job covering the net. Smith lands a good number of aces as a server. Smith led KCD with 263 digs last year to go with 28 aces.
