Her steady hand on the left side guided Lincoln North Star through some dramatic matches, particularly in the district final at Grand Island. This gave opposing blockers a lot to think about, and Cochran was often able to work right past the hands in front of her. She racked up 2.4 kills per set for Omaha Marian to go along with 3.4 digs per set in the back row. This all-around outside hitter also leads the Wildcats in digs, demonstrating Finley's willingness to affect any phase of the game.
