2027 Rankings Update: Liberos

The liberos from the class of 2027 get a closer look, focusing on those included in the last Rankings Update. The top two liberos in the class, [player_tooltip player_id='484723' first='Kela' last='Williams'] and [player_tooltip player_id='459090' first='Analiah' last='Lauifi'], have given verbal commitments to Wichita State and Cal-State Northridge, respectively, and we expect other defenders in the rankings to come off the board as college programs fill their future rosters. The libero and DS positions are typically recruited late in the cycle; players and parents have to be patient and persistent with the process. Dolven is a talented multi-sport athlete who has been on competitive, well-trained teams with Shockwave and Kamiakin in the Tri-Cities. Her positive energy and hustle come through clearly when you watch her battle on the court.       Naness was on point in the back row for FEVA during the club season and will play her school ball this season at University Prep. The 5'7" libero has good size and strength; she reads attackers and moves herself to positive positions on the court to make plays. Naness smoothly drop steps on deep serves to clear her platform away from her body and deliver clean passes to keep the offense in system.
