2028 Highlight Hitters

The class of 2028 is already showing a strong group of hitters who are making their mark early in their high school careers. As sophomores, these players are proving themselves as consistent offensive threats with the ability to score from multiple spots on the court. She can move the ball around the court with ease, using a wide variety of shots in her tool belt—from sharp line swings to powerful crosses and even sharp shots to the “T.” She reads the block well, using it to her advantage by swinging high off hands or tipping smartly to open space. Night after night, she puts up high kill numbers and continues to be a go-to scorer for her team. She's definitely a player to watch this high school season as she makes a major offensive impact.     The hitter from Rockwall, TX earns a spot on the watch list for her ability to attack from anywhere on the court. She can score from either pin or run an “X” play up the middle, giving her team plenty of offensive options. Her range of swings is impressive, as she chooses her shots with purpose and finds ways to score no matter how the defense is positioned. Just as importantly, she shows strong technical skill with her out-of-system timing, which is a crucial strength for any pin hitter. With her versatility and offensive IQ, she's a name to keep an eye on this season.     Mallory earns her spot on the watch list for her technical skill and all-around impact on the court. She is a smart attacker who finds deep corners with precision and uses strong, explosive last two steps in her approach to maximize power and control. Beyond her offense, Mallory contributes defensively both off the block and in the back row, where she consistently gets stopped on contact and keeps plays alive. She carries herself with positive, competitive energy that lifts her teammates and reflects the type of player every coach values. With her skill set and mindset, Mallory is definitely a player to keep an eye on.     The Grand Prairie hitter, Bailee, is a standout on our watch list for her powerful and consistent attacking. She is especially effective with her line swing, where her aggressive backswing, smooth upswing, and strong last two steps in her approach give her the power to score consistently. Bailee's mechanics allow her to stay in control while delivering heavy swings that challenge any defense. She has the versatility to attack from both the outside and right side, but she finds her greatest success driving balls down the line. With her power and precision, Bailee is a key offensive threat and a player to keep an eye on this season.
