Texas High School Report – Dishin the Rock

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The high school season is underway all across the state of Texas and there have been some great individual performances so far.  This article series will highlight those special players who are leading their respective teams in certain statistical categories.  Let's check out some awesome setters who are running the show in impeccable fashion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">The junior setter is on fire this year as she currently leads all setters with 607 assists on the year.  That list includes all grad classes which is even more impressive.  In her third season at the varsity level, she is leading her squad to an impressive 14-7 overall record.  They will definitely be a team to beat in their district this year with her at the helm of the offense.  She is powerful with the ball in her hands as she guides is to the pins with ease from every location.  Currently she is on pace to shatter her assist total from last year as she has raised her stats to 10.8 assists per set.  We are very proud of her accomplishments and know that she has only the helm of the offense for Montgomery High and is proving that she belongs.  Currently she has the second most assists in all of Texas.  So far she has tallied 564 assists on the young season and has almost surpassed her total from all of last season.  She is putting the ball on a “tee” for her attackers to swing away on.  We will definitely be adding her to our Watch List based on this dishing the rock so far this year.  Her assist tally currently sits at 497 and she has more than doubled her assist per set stats this season.  There is no doubt who the leader on the court is for her squad as she already has more ball handling attempts than her last two seasons on varsity.  Experience is everything in this game and Lucy is proving that she is someone who should be noticed.  We have her on our official Watch List already and she is making a strong case for us to put her on the State Ranking List soon.  Stay tuned to see if she makes it.  Regardless, we will be covering her
