Five Available Pin Players From The Class Of 2026

We'll spend today talking about the pin attackers that are available for a commitment, with plenty of talent still available. Here are five athletes from five different clubs that can hammer from the pin.    Big and physical, Samantha is a solid three-rotation right side that is a regular problem for opponents. On offense, she hits a high and hard ball to any angle. On defense, she sets a good block with whomever her middle is and takes up a good amount of space with her broad shoulders. She's played on 1s teams at Academy for some time now, which translates into her being accustomed to open-level play. For a 6'2" right side to be still available at this time of year is miraculous, as Miss Adams can be a plug-and-play right side for a small school right NOW.     Another big and solid right side, Bailey might not have the vertical that Samantha does, but she makes up for it in upper body strength. She hits a heavier ball to all angles, can cause problems for opposing attackers with her long arms and broad shoulders and is a positive force to be around on the court, always with a smile on her face. Playing for Gym Rats, a new club in the Fort Wayne area, she might not get as much publicity as others on this list. Nevertheless, you can't teach 6'2", and she would be a nice addition to the pin attacking stable of a smaller school.     Springy and active, Addison is one of the top attackers Barr-Reeve has had in some time. With the general ability to do anything any other outside can do, Addison is most likely going to pass both the 1000 career kill mark AND the 1000 career dig mark this fall at Barr-Reeve. Miss Jones is well-acclimated to open-level play, and rarely comes out of the game because of her solid all-around skill set. I'm amazed that a kid with this level of skill is still available at this time of year, yet here we are. Miss Jones would be an amazing addition to a stable of outside hitters at most schools needing just that.     Lithe but certainly not playing like it, Audrey is a recent transfer to Circle from Team Indiana, where she was a primary-passing outside on an open-level team. Quick with her feet and whip-like with her arm swing, Audrey can terminate from anywhere and receive serve at an above-average level. She does best while passing with other solid passers, as her confidence lies directly with her attacking. An exceptional team player, she thrives in an atmosphere that has solid, positive leadership in both coaches and teammates. In short, Audrey is the type of kid you don't have to think about---she does her job without the need for approval, and does it well.     Heavy-hitting and strong, Ava is a solid three-rotation attacker for the next level. Although she lists herself as an "everywhere" type of hitter, her future lies with her taking advantage of her jumping ability on the left pin and terminating. Her physicality got her this far, as being an athlete first got her familiar with all of the attacking positions, without much training on the defensive side. Yes, Ava might be a collegiate project, but with her size, strength and jumping ability, she's a nice redshirt candidate that will wreck havoc in the practice gym, making everyone around her better.
