Okwura helped her Seven Lakes team have one of the best campaigns in the event, getting seven wins and just one loss. Middle was a position of streght for the Spartans, who saw both her and junior Willtrace Ngoh earn all-tournament selections. Always the tallest player on the court, Okwura used her physical tools extremely well to dominate the net on both sides of the game. The middle took full advantage of her contact point to overcome opposing blockers and put the ball down and also made an impact on the defensive side of the game by moving smoothly at the net and quickly getting off the floor to get stops and touches with her blocking.

A senior, Jones led Klein as they produced a positive record of five wins and three losses in the preseason tournament. Blocking was easily the most impressive area of her game as she played very aggressively above the net and consistenly got in the way of opposing hitters, getting several stuffs. Jones was exellent at reading plays and displayed great mobilitty to get to the pins, making sure she would take up a lot of spae from opposing hitters when she went up. The senior also offered a calming presence to her teammates and had some nice serving runs.

One of only a few returning starters with back-to-back state champions Grand Oaks, Ferreira was in great form as her team concluded the event with five wins and three losses. Despite not being very tall, she made up for that with impressive dynamism and intensity at the net. Ferreira was always on the move, and with that, she got to make a big impact in the game. She was very efficient at hitting a very quick set in the middle and also appeared well with her blocking, getting many touches.

With the physical Bobnar at the net, Magnolia registered four wins and four losses over the weekend. The senior middle offered her team a strong presence at the net and was a factor on both sides of the ball. Bobnar had a very high contact point and displayed enough firepower to make it hard for opposing defenders to control her swings - she also hit from the left in one rotation and did well. The middle's blocking was also very productive, as she always reacted quickly and was able to put up a big block in front of opponents. Bobnar was effective from the service line too, serving aggressively and getting opponents out of system.

Torn manned the middle for the Memorial team that got four wins and four losses across the three days of matches. Very tall, she was very disciplined and reliable with her actions at the net, operating as one of the pillars of the team. Torn displayed a strong offensive game, being capable of hitting different sets in the middle and showing nice resources to make it work when fed inaccurate sets. She also had a strong blocking presence, moving well and reacting very quickly to get her arms above the net and press opponents.
