Anderson plays for Southridge as a returning senior middle. She works extremely hard to get up and hit fast in transition. She runs quicks in front of the setter and behind, with her long arms and reach giving her the height that she needs to hit balls.

Madsen is a starting freshman on Westview's varsity team, with the ability to keep up with a fast paced environment. She is incredibly fast in the air, hitting almost a zero tempo ball out of the middle. She covers a lot of ground on the block, shooting to the outside to block one-on-one.

Pedersen, a 6-rotation middle for Westview, has great defense on and off the net. She closes the block well, getting touches and blocks whenever she is in the air. Her versatility makes her a key player, returning to varsity as a junior.

Shields is a powerful middle for Beaverton, with heavy serves and even heavier swings. She works the backrow with her jump floats and finds holes in the block when she is going up to attack.
