<p>This past week, all teams in the Metro League traveled to Mountainside High to compete in a friendly pre-season jamboree. Season has officially started, with tryouts finished and some playing time already under teams' belts. Here are the setters who stood out during this mini tournament:</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Royal Kekaualua is a sophomore setter for Westview, running a fast tempo at the net and shooting balls to hitters. She runs a 5-1, stepping off the defend on blocks. The most memorable part of her setting is her quickness on her middle sets. Attempting to run a zero tempo ball, Royal Kekaualua stumps blockers and slows them down. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Thompson, a sophomore setter for Mountainside, is very smart with her sets, knowing who to set and when to challenge the opposing side. She sees the court in its entirety, allowing her to run her offense efficiently and fast. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Longgood is a setter/right side for Mountainside, who can not only set well, but hit. She has a huge block, taking up space and challenging hitters, and fast hands, getting the ball to offensive players to make plays and score points. </p>
