Prep Dig KS/MO Showcase Alums Putting Up Big Numbers this Fall

These annual treks give me a chance to keep tabs on some "neighbors" and get a glimpse of top-tier athletes from Kansas and Missouri.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This feels like the perfect time to drum up a few memories. We've just announced our new Prep Dig Exposure Tour, and Kansas City is back on the calendar with a <a href="https://events.prepdig.com/e/2028/register/prep-dig-exposure-tour-missourikansas">Dec. 14 showcase date</a>. I'm planning to make another trip to help out with coverage, and we hope to see you there.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>So, in the spirit of this upcoming outing, we're picking out a few past KS/MO showcase standouts thriving on the high school stage this fall. Morgan is primarily a setter, and she has churned out about four assists per set for Shawnee Heights this fall. However, this Manhattan Mamba VBC standout also wields her quick arm along the net and has logged multiple triple-digit-kill campaigns in her prep career. This Maize South junior has soared in Year 3 with the Mavericks, producing 4.1 digs per set and a bevy of quality passes for her setter. Webb has some prep experience as a setter, but her attacking prowess has taken precedence in her upperclassman tenure with Liberty North. The Eagles are getting three kills per set out of Webb, and she has proven her willingness to score from anywhere. Her show-stopping athleticism left a lasting impression at our 2024 KS/MO showcase, but that was just the beginning of Maka's rise among her 2028 peers. She put up just over 300 kills as a freshman, but has already greatly exceeded that bar in 2025. Schmidtlein brought an imposing presence to our showcase circuit despite being one of the youngest entrants at last summer's event. She proved to be a force in the middle and has put up the prep numbers to back it up. Schmidtlein has already soared past 400 kills as a sophomore and has done it on a scorching 0.318 clip. Livermore has made her mark as a multi-position star on the Kansas prep scene, but she didn't get started on our showcase circuit in Kansas City. Rather, this extraordinary athlete traveled to my turf and took over this summer's Prep Dig Nebraska Freshman Showcase. Livermore's journey was well worth it, as she dominated as a backcourt setter and a right-side attacker. Kapaun Mt. Carmel has leaned on their first-year leader for 3.3 kills per set and nearly 200 total assists--a true testament to Livermore's all-around skill and versatility. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
