Top 4A Players From Regionals

Regionals were an eye-opener for many teams, and 4A was no different. Each team had that reliable player that made things better, whether in a win or a loss, that gave an outstanding performance. Her ability to step in and set during the 3A state final was nothing short of heroic. Her leadership transitioning the Braves to 4A has been exemplary. She finished with 12 kills and 7 digs, while receiving 22 serves without being aced. With her setter earning 28 assists in the regional against Floyd Central, Rose converted 21 of those into kills when everyone in the gym knew who was getting the ball. In three sets, Miss Gisslen racked up 28 assists, and needed every last one of them in Carroll's rare off-night this past Saturday. I'm going to go with an unknown, big and physical middle that racked up 11 blocks against Crown Point in their five set loss on Saturday. Finding available hitters is easy. Kendall showed immediately upon arrival this fall that she was ready for the assignment, and it all culminated with a 28 kill, 13 dig performance against Center Grove in a five-set thriller. Gabby is a big, tough and relentless outside attacker that jumps well and can do everything at an above-average level. Yes, her 20 kill, 7 dig performance was impressive, but I'm more intrigued with the 26 service receptions without an error in her biggest role yet.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
