Northeast Kansas Seniors Finish Prep Careers

Sands recorded career totals of 981 kills and 804 digs. During her senior season, she dished out 882 assists and recorded 1,982 assists for her prep career. She finished her prep career with a second-place finish at the Class 4A State Tournament. She finished her senior season with 400 assists and just fell short of 1,500 digs for her career with a final total of 1,488. She recorded three straight seasons with 400 or more digs. She was also named to the Class 4A KVCA All-State Tournament team. She has an offer to college volleyball at Washburn University. Langvardt led Wamego in kills with 301 during her final high school season. She recorded a total of 888 kills and 217 blocks for her prep career. She was named to the 2026 All-Deck squad. She is ranked No. 37 overall in the Kansas Class of 2026 rankings. Prather and three other key seniors have played their final matches for the Mustangs. Prather played a key role in the Mustangs' success, registering 147 kills, 223 digs, and 279 serve receptions during her senior campaign. She is ranked No. 92 overall and has committed to play softball at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Dye is a hitting machine on the softball diamond.
