Nike Classic Day Two Morning Session Outstanding Performers

She pushes balls toward the net. That includes a back set with little leaning. She needs some work on her control with first touches, but that will come in time. Cassidy hits from the back row and takes quality out of system role shots. Cassidy is very coachable. The University of Cincinnati commit takes hard swings on the go routes and smashes hard four to four crosses. Ritter disrupts plays at the net with her size and vertical jump. She takes big rips on gap shots and slams down overpassed balls. Described by teammates and close ones as funny, spontaneous and calm, Ritter is showing the determination to go into her senior season strong. However, she seems to be handling it well. Courtney sets up hitters at the tops of their peaks at many different angles. Courtney makes good adjustments on balls and is very positive on the court. Courtney has a nice deep spinning serve. Gibson makes good first touches. She reacts well to hard-hit balls. She takes big rips from the back row and can angle balls off blocks for big kills. Phipps executes ones with her size even when the sets are off. She is very coachable.
