GJNCs, on average, can get overwhelming from a recruiting standpoint. So many high-end players, so many recruiting classes, so little time to finally see them all. Luckily, the state of Indiana is sending almost 50 teams to GJNCs in Indianapolis later this summer, and every last team had to qualify to get there. Here are six players from around central Indiana from the same roster that can easily compete with other 1s teams in the Midwest.

As the director of the offense for a highly competitive club team here in central Indiana, Ava's quick athleticism allows her teammates ample opportunity to score points at will. Miss Jones gets to each and every pass—-regardless of WHERE the ball is passed—-and makes the resulting set hittable. Yes, that's a basic function of being a setter, but Ava's consistency and reliability in that skill alone makes her one of the top ten setting recruits in the state.

Capable of hitting from the middle or one of the pins in any situation, Ragan is a highly athletic attacker that has “hybrid” written all over her. I've seen her bury zero-tempo balls in club, and I've seen her go over pin blockers during high school; both actions result in regular points production for her respective squads. Over-six-footers in Indiana that can play more than one position well are rare—-Ragan is a prospect that is practically guaranteed to produce at the next level because of her well-rounded athleticism.

Speaking of well-rounded, Lily is a six-rotation outside that has a bevy of well-trained skills at her disposal. Need a side-out? In- or out-of-system, Lily can score points. How about a well-timed serve reception? Miss Reinhart can step in and help an overwhelmed SR pattern. Floor defense? Lily's read-and-react style of defense can carry over to the next level. Overall, she's a solid choice for a six-rotation outside hitting option in the class of ‘28, and she's only getting better.

Easily one of the sneakiest pickups from last club season to this (Monon Select, previously), Meredith is the glue for an exceptionally strong 2s team at Circle. As an undersized overachiever, Meredith hits a heavy ball and has active feet in each and every transitional play from 0-0 to the last point of the match. Capable of playing either pin with confidence and strength, Miss Mears will fit in nicely with a program looking for yet another well-rounded pin attacker that can do a bit of everything on the volleyball court.

Playing both the libero position and the three-rotation DS spot in multiple tournaments on 16 Black, Harper is as steady as can be in both serve receive and on floor defense. To be fair—-there are SO many defensive specialists in Indiana that they're hard to discern from one another. That being said, Harper stands out as an active and vocal libero that is the main reason this squad stays in system and has the success that they've had this spring.

Formerly an active and springy middle for last year's 15 Purple squad, Sophia (there's an A at the end of her name) is a full-time right side, and looks every bit the part of a terminating and athletic pin attacker. Able to hit from anywhere, her upper body strength and constantly active feet in transition show all the traits of a next-level recruit that can make a difference as anything from an outlet attacker to a primary cog in the offense of any open-level squad. Between Brownsburg and Circle, Miss Orlando is getting plenty of high-end training that has her seamlessly transitioning from middle to right side, where she looks even more natural.
