About Annabelle
Expert Analysis
Anthony Jones | Prep Dig Scout
Annabelle will have no shortage of suitors looking to sign her in the coming years. She plays with a strong mix of physicality and discipline that is uncommon for her age. At the net, she does an excellent job sealing blocks and forcing hitters into difficult shots, while offensively she continues to show improvement running quick sets and finishing at a high percentage. Her footwork, lateral movement, and ability to stay engaged point after point have made her a player coaches trust to impact winning volleyball.
As an attacker, she is explosive in transition and plays comfortably in multiple tempos. She gets off the floor quickly, stays available for setters, and consistently scores with pace and range. Her ability to stay aggressive even in broken plays stands out, and she shows flashes of becoming a true offensive centerpiece instead of just a traditional middle option.
College coaches are going to especially drawn to her upside because she still has so much room to develop physically and technically. With her motor, competitive mindset, and ability to influence both sides of the ball, it’s easy to understand why several Division I schools are expected to be heavily involved once communication opens on June 15th.

is the type of player who instantly grabs your attention the moment she steps on the court. She plays with an intensity and competitive fire that’s impossible to ignore, yet still manages to be an incredible teammate throughout the process. Her passion for the game shows in every rally, and she brings an energy that elevates the players around her.
Offensively, her quick, whip-like arm swing is a major weapon. She attacks with confidence, speed, and purpose, making her difficult to defend in transition and in-system situations alike. One of the most impressive parts of her game is her ability to read overpasses and terminate them immediately — she’s always alert, aggressive, and ready to capitalize on opportunities at the net.
Defensively, she does a great job tracking hitters, reading angles, and establishing herself as a strong blocker. Her slides are especially tough to contain because of how fast and efficient she moves laterally, and once she gets going offensively, she can completely change the momentum of a match.

Annabelle is our last middle on this list but might be the best of the bunch with her weekend. Offensively, she was efficient and quick, running a variety of tempo sets and staying available in transition throughout rallies. She connected well with her setter, showing the ability to score on quicks, slides, and second-effort plays. On the defensive side she established herself early with disciplined footwork and great timing, consistently closing blocks and taking away angles from opposing hitters. Her ability to read the setter and move laterally allowed her to be involved in plays across the entire net, not just in her zone against other middles. She was a force all weekend and someone who stood out to us.

Annabelle was a fearless competitor all weekend long. Every time she steps on the court, she reinforces why she’s considered one of the top players in her class.
At the net, she was dominant. Her block was strong and disciplined, taking away angles and forcing opponents to rethink their options. Offensively, she kept defenses guessing with her ability to score on multiple middle runs — quicks, slides, and transition attacks — making her a constant mismatch. And when overpasses drifted her way? She terminated them without hesitation.
What impressed us just as much was her presence in pressure moments. When matches tightened up, Annabelle became the steady voice — bringing her team together, slowing the pace, and resetting the focus. That composure is rare, and it speaks to her leadership.
She doesn’t just impact the stat sheet — she impacts the tone of the match. A true floor leader and a standout representative of Arizona volleyball.

named MVP at PrepDig’s Exposure Tour in Arizona.
Annabelle was a dynamic, athletic middle who stepped into a six-rotation role and thrived. She became a go to option offensively, finding ways to stay available even on bad passes and broken plays. Her ability to adapt and remain aggressive allowed her team to stay in system when others struggled.
In the back row, Annabelle proved that middles can play defense, serving aggressively and defending with confidence. She shared that her speed allows her to react quickly at the net, particularly as a blocker, and she is currently focused on tightening her game by limiting errors and increasing consistency. Her willingness to expand her role and compete in every rotation made her the clear MVP at this showcase.
