Everett sees where blockers are coming from then angles balls off them for big kills or sending roll shots to open areas of the court. Everett goes up strong and powers balls through the windows of double blocks. She also uses her size to hit over and around blocks. Everett gets on top of balls and puts great power into them. Maighan adjusts in the air to shove balls to the sides instead of hitting into double blocks. Maighan reacts quickly at the net on setovers and deflected balls. She takes sound swings and can run a sound offense. Chaffin reads hitters well and tries to beat balls to their destinations on the floor. She backs up blockers with efficiency with her quick hands. Burtner mixes in tips to shallow zones on the court giving opponents something extra to consider. Burtner especially runs gaps and slides well. A good next step for Burtner is a quicker arm swing to make it tougher for opponents to dig her up. DeTrana also puts up sound double blocks.
