Five Division II-AA, Middle Region Players to Put on Radar

Mewbourne has a good vertical jump then gets on top of balls to smack them into seams and holes in double blocks relentlessly. Mewbourne has a high attack point to record sound crosses and line shots with an astounding downward trajectory. She is also makes sound passes in the back row. Jensen takes minimal steps to get to balls and stops in her tracks to form walls around balls for crisp passes. Jensen handles crosses with little trouble and goes down on her knees to get to tips. Jensen delivers quality out of system sets and serves sound float serves. Scruggs makes things happen from the middle and the pins. She has a quick arm swing, allowing her to executes sound slides and gap shots. Scruggs hits off blocks for big points and is a sound blocker. Her jump sets are often on target. Stockton has good touch on them and does not lock her arms. Stockton executes a variety of sets including the back set with little lean. Hale consistently puts the right amount of touch on her hits. Hale relentlessly attacks seams with precision. Hale sees openings and makes the right adjustments to hit balls into them. Hale angles balls off blocks for big points and is an aggressive blocker.
