PrepDig Premier Attackers Who Brought the Heat to the Gauntlet

She was one of the most effective and versatile scorers throughout the Gauntlet. She showcased the ability to score from everywhere on the court, mixing in sharp cross court swings with well placed off speed rolls and tips. She is comfortable attacking from either pin and capable of running routes through the middle. She covered a ton of ground, consistently got to balls others wouldn't, and ran the slide with great timing and precision. Her impressive vertical and fast arm swing allowed her to attack above the block and terminate plays over and over again. While she is equally impressive defensively, it was her athleticism and offensive play that really stood out to me. It was impressive enough seeing her dominate the court, but even more so after learning she is only 15 and playing up an age level. She has a tremendous vertical and quick arm swing which are a short recipe for success. I saw her attack and put down balls from around the 10 foot line multiple times. Krogwold was one of those players that came to play. She is an outside that sees the game really well and does a great job finding open spots, whether it is hitting the seam or putting down the hard line or cross shot. What I appreciated most was how well she responded to her teammates and coach. If someone called out "line", she listened and made the adjustment and attacked that area which more often than not, led to a point for her team. Even though she's spent a lot of her club career playing up on 17s, she still isn't technically even at that age level yet, which makes what she's doing even more impressive.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tengblad is a pin that is super quick, has a fast arm swing, and can score from either pin, which makes her a real problem for defenses. She plays with energy, competes hard, and finds ways to impact the game whether on offense or defense...and she did just that at the Gauntlet. To sum it up, she's just a baller that you know is going to bring her all every time she steps on the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
