This year's club season has been full of variety and success among Great Plains Region 17s, as evidenced by the list of Nebraska squads heading to GJNC at the end of the month. Real is quickly ascending to that tier with her explosiveness and ability to terminate from anywhere at the net. Scribner has made her mark with VCNebraska 17 Black, culminating in a dramatic podium ascent at Kansas City's Show Me Qualifier. That weekend featured so many scrappy, grueling matches, and Scribner was often at the center of it all. She produces exceptional touches for her backcourt defense and effectively reads setters from pin to pin. Then, Scribner delivers the transition firepower to be an unstoppable in-system scorer. The Arthur County senior boasts a ton of range on the left antenna and gives defenses fits through her well-placed tips. Moreover, Wild West can trust Wenzel to go pass-to-attack and take the lead in multiple phases. Rinne is surely on recruiting radars after Freeman's Class C2 title run, but her collegiate case has strengthened further with Nebraska ONE. Her 17 Black crew rolled into the Northeast Qualifier and earned a highly coveted 17 USA bid in Philadelphia. This "road show" requires some frontcourt players who can rack up kills at a high clip, and that's what Rinne delivers. She currently lurks on our 2027 watch list, but recent performances have justified a rankings ascent for the Kearney Catholic senior. 17 Blue brought its central Nebraska crew to the Great Plains Region Bid Tournament and leveraged Wemhoff's scoring prowess from the first whistle. This dynamic left-side hitter can generate offense through her off-speed shots or tee off down the line when given a window. Whenever we glanced near the top of Nebraska's blocking leaderboards or efficiency charts, Samuelson was usually there.
