It's better to let play talk for itself when it comes to [player_tooltip player_id='586653' first='Maya' last='Ogbogu'], but recognition must be given after a win like today. A 10 ft. line over pass kill, a facetime call, and big time digs all in the first set!? Maya showed up with only business to handle. Utilizing her athleticism to get up and blow past blocks, elevated her team's offensive efforts and fueled the fire to come back in the second set. She took her fight to the serving line as well, pushing points in every opportunity. The momentum was in TAV's favor because of the confidence and tenacity that was flowing from Maya this afternoon.

[player_tooltip player_id='580658' first='Caitlin' last='Carrizales'] took defense to another level in this championship game. Sporting the libero jersey, she came with all out effort. If there was a play to be made, Caitlin was the one pushing towards it. Not always a perfect pass, but up and playable was the name of her game. Caitlin kept her feet moving and her platform in front, making the digs and saves that kept her team alive in big rallies. Her energy, grit, and coverage have been a big part of her team's success and were on full display in this week's play.

[player_tooltip player_id='765096' first='Sarah' last='Floyd'], lefty right side for TAV 16 Black, remained the tricky player we've come to know. Giving her team the edge of having great scoring options with a dominant swing on the right pin. her presence at the net pulled the attention of the block, and opened the court for her teammates to make big plays. A swing down the line, cut cross court, or a wall at the net, Sarah contributed to her team's fight in every set this afternoon.

[player_tooltip player_id='579842' first='Sadie' last='Lovato'], pushed her team to the max today. Setting a quick tempo and showing no signs of letting up, pushing her hitters to run a fast offense with quick swings to keep the defense on their toes. Distributing the ball all over the court, utilizing her outsides in the back row and reversing the ball to change the play at just the right moments. Sadie read the game with ease, and reacted in time with her team. Her high IQ and consistency played a crucial role in the road to gold this week.

Crown a serving queen after this win. MC Crutcher was not messing around from the serving the line in this match up. Racking up crucial points in a row with an insane top spin serve, that is not only troublesome, but consistent! She contributed on all fronts of this game, swinging to kill, putting up a big block, and pushing for the defensive plays. MC made it clear, she and her team were not going away after the first set. The fight and strength she displayed was that of only a champion.

She showed heart after the team dropped the first set to A5, and she came back on a mission in set 2. Taking the time to learn her opponents, read the set, and close the block consistently changed the momentum of the game for her team. Brooklyn disrupted the offense, putting up roofs over countless hitting attempts. Every defensive stop fueled her energy and encouraged her team to keep fighting for points, until the final whistle blew.
