Kentucky Stock Up Showcase Preview: What Middles Are Coming?

Able to hit high and hard from either the middle or the pins, Lucy's ability to use her size to her advantage is something that will be much needed for the next level, no matter where she goes. Already accustomed to a higher volleyball acuity by training at both St. Henry and NKYVC, getting Miss Lemmond accustomed to collegiate-level training shouldn't be too hard. A little small for the middle but with arms that can make up for it, her block is solid and can redirect attacks coming her way, making defenders thankful that she's there. She hits high and hard, is rarely timid and gets touches on a ton of balls on defense, making others forget that she's not quite 6' tall. At Lexington Catholic and at LUV, she's already accustomed to high-level volleyball, so seeing her against her peers on Saturday should really project how high up the watch list—-or the actual rankings—-she should go.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
