2029s Taking Control Of The Game- Part 3

Last but again, certainly not least, we have our final part for 2029 standouts. As I said before, this class is always so much fun to cover. There are so many talented athletes, all with different styles of gameplay. If you didn't make this list, don't worry- there will be so much 2029 coverage throughout the year so just keep an eye out! Not only is she a very skilled athlete, but she also brings so much joy to the game. You can tell she is one of those players who all of her teammates enjoy sharing the court with. She does an amazing job of knowing what her team needs and brings whatever they need in that moment. If they need reassurance, she will be the biggest cheerleader. But if they need someone to get on them, hold them accountable, and push them forward, she can make that switch in a second. She has the perfect personality that everyone looks for in their setters. Skill-wise, she plays with another level of knowledge and always finds ways to set her team up for success and help them score.     Don't let this kid's quietness fool you; when she gets going, there's no stopping her. No matter where she is at the net, Ehrke can and will find a way to put the ball down. She doesn't always try to make the flashy move; she just pounds the ball, which makes her stand out even more. Emerson showed rapid growth throughout the 2026 club season and very quickly became a staple in her team's offense. Ehrke is going to keep making a name for herself this year.     [player_tooltip player_id='765171' first='Dillynn' last='Moore'] has been a stand out pin for all of her teams over the last few years. The six-rotation sophomore wasted no time getting to work leading her team. So it should come as no surprise that Moore led her team in most categories as a freshman. Although Dillynn is on one of the lower teams in the MAC, that doesn't stop her from going up against some of the best with fearlessness. Moore makes sure to leave every court with absolutely no regrets.     [player_tooltip player_id='849088' first='Chloe' last='Degroot'] has shown rapid growth throughout the year, and I'm excited to see how she continues to flourish through the fall. Degroot does a fantastic job staying patient on her block, moving well laterally, and putting up strong hands. She always finds ways to adjust and score, and works hard to connect with her setters. I don't doubt that she's going to be a big contributor for the Bobcats.     Maddy is a monster of a ds with a drive unlike most. Uker does a fantastic job of running the back row and taking up as much space as possible. She does an amazing job pushing the girls around her to get better and always leaves everything on the court. Although Uker has a lot of competition in the back row at PV, I think she'll still be finding ways to make herself known over the high school and club season.     [player_tooltip player_id='902968' first='Jada' last='Wiltz'] is an athlete who finds ways to contribute to her team no matter where she's on the court. Wiltz is a pure athlete with speed and a vertical like no other. Last year, she wasn't necessarily leading the team, but she was still able to get the job done. However, I think this year is going to be a breakout season for Jada. Now that she has a year of varsity ball under her belt, you can expect to see a new level of confidence in her gameplay.     [player_tooltip player_id='890305' first='Johanna' last='Shaffer'] is another powerful presence at the net with another level of versatility. You can tell Shaffer is in her element when she's in the middle, but she is no stranger to the right side. No matter where she's at, she uses her lengthy arms and speed to hit over and around her blockers. Johanna was a promising piece of the Rockets, and I'm excited to see her back in action with Anamosa.     Hutchins is a dominant middle who uses every inch of her height to be assertive at the net. Hutchins rejects her opposing hitters like it's nothing by utilizing stellar timing and a big reach. Offensively, Emerson works hard in transition, is explosive in her approach, and shows off a heavy arm. We can expect Hutchins to be a strong contributor to the Ankeny crew this fall.     [player_tooltip player_id='741877' first='Tenley' last='Cewe'] is an absolute beast in the back row. Not only does she showcase another level of speed and athleticism, but her fundamental game is her true strength. You can tell she's been playing for a long time and is well-coached. She is extremely disciplined in her fundamentals, leaving very little room for error. The Clinton libero wastes no time studying her opponents and figuring out tendencies to use to her advantage. Cewe knows when and how to step up and run her team, even though she's an underclassman.     There is no question why 151 Elite has had so much success over the last two years. Having Guinn and Blommer on the outside, pushing each other, and both being dominant pins makes them unstoppable. Amelia has the physicality that coaches search for not only in their pins but in all of their athletes. With her height, speed, and power, Guinn makes herself extremely hard to defend against. Not only has she already done extremely well for herself, but she's still on an upward trend and has no intention of slowing down.
