Booy is another 2030 already making an impact at the varsity level. Through 18 sets, she has put down 42 kills while also contributing in the back row, showing early signs of developing into a true six-rotation pin.

Her 30 digs and 32 serve receptions show that she isn’t being protected in the rotation. She is being asked to pass, defend and terminate from the pin. With 42 kills already, Booy is averaging 2.3 kills per set. As her game continues to develop and she adjusts to the speed and physicality of varsity volleyball, there is plenty to like about her early production.

Emma is a player that has a legitimate shot to contribute to Coach Laura Crow’s back-to-back State Championship Wampus Cats. She has the size and the arm to put the ball down at the varsity level. She looks to be another in the long line of great outside hitters from Conway. Booy’s defense shined when I watched at a college camp earlier this summer, so much so, I had to ask if she was a new 2027 to the area. Her blocking and digging will only get better and she is already a solid offensive option. While she may not start, she will most likely be in the mix this fall.
