all have the tools to make some serious noise in this class.
Yancey may have the most upside of anyone in this group. At 5’11”, she already has good size and versatility at the net. Unfortunately, she had to have surgery to address a nagging injury, which was a real blow for Lakeside. She should be ready to return around the first of the year. If she grows a little more, her ceiling could be extremely high.
Bush has been putting up some of the best varsity numbers among the freshmen in Arkansas. The Lamar outside has taken on a heavy offensive workload while also contributing on the back row. At 6’1″, Berry brings the kind of size that gets college coaches’ attention, while Lindsey, at 5’10”, gives Bentonville West another young front-row player with plenty of room to develop.
Booy is the player I really want to focus on in this group. She has turned it on lately for Conway, including a 15-kill performance in a loss to Cabot. She has a powerful right arm and is working hard to develop the finer points of playing the pin positions. She is doing this in the 6A Central against tough competition.
Physically, she’s an imposing player, and watching her compete, you wouldn’t think she was just a freshman. As her mechanics and understanding of the game continue to improve, Booy has the potential to become a major offensive weapon for the Lady Cats.

Booy is another 2030 already making an impact at the varsity level. Through 18 sets, she has put down 42 kills while also contributing in the back row, showing early signs of developing into a true six-rotation pin.
Her 30 digs and 32 serve receptions show that she isn’t being protected in the rotation. She is being asked to pass, defend and terminate from the pin. With 42 kills already, Booy is averaging 2.3 kills per set. As her game continues to develop and she adjusts to the speed and physicality of varsity volleyball, there is plenty to like about her early production.
2026 Stats: 18 sets | 42 kills | 2.3 kills/set | 3 aces | 4 blocks | 30 digs | 32 serve receptions

Emma is a player that has a legitimate shot to contribute to Coach Laura Crow’s back-to-back State Championship Wampus Cats. She has the size and the arm to put the ball down at the varsity level. She looks to be another in the long line of great outside hitters from Conway. Booy’s defense shined when I watched at a college camp earlier this summer, so much so, I had to ask if she was a new 2027 to the area. Her blocking and digging will only get better and she is already a solid offensive option. While she may not start, she will most likely be in the mix this fall. Teaming her with 2028 outside
